A publication consists of

• a document identifier (id)
• a source consisting of code and name
• a rubric as free text (optional)
• regional information (optional)
• a publication time
• an import date

An article consists of

• the article content in XML format
• a document type (optional)
• a language specifier
• dateline (optional), head and subhead (optional)
• information on the character count
• information on whether it has been digitized from printed material

Each article can have been published several times. Different articles may share the same article content.
